Learning and developing, learning and developing, learning and developing. We are taking the time to learn the most we can before producing new product. When we under the name SOLEmates, all we were doing was t-shirts designs and getting them screen printed. To be taken seriously, we want to be as well-rounded as possible. our goal is to have a full line of clothing on our first drop. Time and money. PEACE
I’m not one for the whole social network thing, I rather speak face to face. But human interaction and true conversation is a dying art. Nowadays when you meet a person the “do you have facebook or twitter?” question Always comes up. I absolutely hate the phrase “facebook me”. With all that said, catch up with us on twitter also @RULERS_Sasha. PEACE
As promised, this is the logo for our brand “RULERS”. We decided on a clean, sleek, and versatile design. I don’t want to go too deep into our thought process behind the development of the logo, but it was important to us for it to have range. Get used to seeing it because it will be everywhere soon. Thank you for following, PEACE
Yes! we are still alive and kickin’. Let me reintroduce myself, my name is Sasha Smith and you will hear from Gabriel soon enough. We apologize for leaving the blog stagnant, but we have been away learning, learning and more learning. honestly I quickly became bored with blogging about the random actions of the world. Our blog was set out to be about our transformation from ending one brand and starting another. we definitely got away from that concept, but we are back to get it rolling again and keep you all informed. we recently settled on a new brand name, but that will be announced in the next post…please stay tuned. PEACE
Know how I know you’re gay?
PEACE,
Gabe
I’ve never really been one for the CELEBRATION of thanksgiving, I do like the part of eating and being around family. I am definitely one for this video. Hope you all are doin it big like this today. PEACE
Listen to Cee-lo! I’ve listen to Cee-lo’s new album “The Lady Killer” everyday since I bought it. This guy is very underrated and is consistently putting out great music. I mentioned his “Stray Bullets” mixtape in an earlier post and this album is just as good. Some stand out tracks are “Wildflower”, “Love Gun” and “Old- Fashioned”. This album is full of different sounds and great lyrics. One more time, if you haven’t started to listen to Cee-lo yet, LISTEN TO CEE-LO! PEACE
Ride NYC! Since the weather is getting kind of nasty, I decided to get in one more enjoyable bike ride. I haven’t been to NYC in a while, so I jumped on Blanca la Rushe (my bike’s name) and off we went to catch the Chinatown bus from Philly to the L.E.S. My first stop was Madison Square Garden; there is renovation being done so it looks terrible right now (similar to the Knicks). After that, I had to pay a visit to our guys at WEST NYC and congratulate them on their collab with Nike. I couldn’t stay long because my stomach started growling. Gray’s Papaya is a half a block from WEST NYC so naturally I grabbed a recession special. The special consists of two dogs and a papaya for $4.45. After my quick bite, I rode through Central Park starting at Strawberry Fields and ending on the east side. Once I finished in the park, I rode back down to the lower and headed back to Philly. If this is my last lengthy ride before the snow starts falling, I can say I did it proper. PEACE
Check it out! The product of a little creativity. Probably the best thing Sash and I have created to this point. We were putting Sasha’s new furniture together when I noticed some very sturdy corner cardboard pieces that I knew would make perfect legs. So we made this desk and had a little fun with the details.
PEACE,
Gabe
